Cheers. It's been a blast. I hope you'll enjoy my tale (There's a good mix of other authors if you don't
Also, Celestial Omnibus is still available. I've no vested interest in that one, but I can highly recommend it.

Does anyone think a Faction Paradox anthology would work?

I do.
Kelly Buchanan at Random Static has the book rights though and seems to think otherwise. But, you know, she's a publisher and I'm just some bloke on the internet, so who's more likely to have done their homework about the feasibility?

I must concur that scaryman23's comment bears no relation to anything I've heard in my dealings with the admittedly close-lipped Random Static
leadership.

Oh, I only meant in terms that we haven't seen one published or heard of one being planned. I don't have any actual knowledge of them not wanting to do
one. Sorry if that sounded otherwise.
I mean, fantastic, if there's a possibility of a Faction anthology happening. I have a pitch ready to go. Let's 'ave it!

I suspect lack of resources is the main reason for the slow progress of new Faction books. Random Static isn't a big publishing house like Mad Norwegian ;)

As I've said before - and as RS are my publishers as well, perhaps I'm acting from self-interest - if the FP fen out there want more FP books, they
must funnel moar moniez to Random Static. Either by buying truckloads of RS products (hint hint), or perhaps raising funds to support
a release, as many musicians are doing these days. I wonder what would happen if RS said: "Okay, we'll put out a new SBJ FP novel, but only if fans
buy 2,000 Euros worth of books in advance" or similar.
Alternatively, it seems that many FP fen are talented authors. An anthology based on the work of fan writers who wouldn't require big advances or perhaps any more than a token payment might make business sense for RS, if a core group of writers want to put together a proposal. Remember that The Book of the War was predominately based on contributions of fan writers rather than pros. The Stacks - the site for

I'd buy an anthology book, it's a good way to sample a lot of different writers in one go, as well as being able to present a lot of different styles
of story telling, so there's going to be something for everyone in such a collection
